Stress & Burnout

What you might be feeling

Exhausted. Foggy. Not bouncing back the way you used to. You keep asking yourself whether this is something more serious, and how you're supposed to support yourself when you can barely keep up.

Long-held stress can impact most areas of life as it changes the body, your relationships, and impacts your sense of identity along with it. Many people arrive here after years of not being fully seen by the medical system, carrying quiet shame about patterns they cannot seem to step out of.

Burnout and depletion that has left you running on empty and wondering when you'll feel like yourself again.

How do we work with it?

We begin by talking, and then by noticing: where does this live in your body? What does it want you to know? Emotion, a type of sensation and information; we give it room in manageable doses.

From there we may use somatic tools to help you cope, grieve, set boundaries, ask for support and learn other patterns that support your wellbeing. You build a set of tools that belong to you, and a way of being with yourself that is less about pushing through and more about listening.

The goal isn't to make you more efficient at a life that's depleting you. It's to help you hear your own needs and learn how to meet them, connect with your body and feel alive.

The best place to start

You don’t have to keep pushing through until you reach a breaking point. Therapy can be a place to slow down, understand what’s happening, and begin finding your way back to yourself. A short, no-pressure conversation is the easiest way to find out if we’re a good fit to work together.
